Frequently asked questions
How much lead time is needed before an event?
The earlier the better, and ideally before the venue is decided. Many major constraints are settled when the venue is chosen. But we take over projects already under way as often as new ones: a signed venue is simply a starting point.
Is a site survey mandatory?
For any substantial setup, yes. Until access, available power, the mounting point and sightlines are checked, the configuration cannot be confirmed. A quote drawn up without a site survey remains an estimate.
What does an RMHpro quote include?
Equipment, crew, transport, meals and accommodation, build and load-out days, line by line with rates. Equipment is charged for show days, crew for days on site. Nothing is folded into a lump sum.
Who is present during the event?
Our technicians are present from the start to the end of the show, and this is included. A dry hire, installed without operation, is still possible; our technicians are then added to the quote, and we recommend it.
How many people are there on the day?
It depends on the setup and is written in the quote. A conference with filming: a production manager, sound and video technicians, a camera operator for each camera that is not remotely controlled. A large gathering: a full team over several days. Each person has a named role on the running sheet.
Which area do you cover?
Based in Valais, we work in French-speaking Switzerland and throughout the country. Transport is charged per kilometre and shown separately on the quote.
Do you work with suppliers already in place?
Yes. As sole provider, as support for an existing team, or as production manager coordinating several suppliers.
Who is responsible in the event of an incident?
The division of responsibilities is set out in writing before the event. Within our scope, our professional liability insurance covers damage to third parties and to the building, with a certificate on the compliance and insurance page.
