Giant LED screen rental in Switzerland
RMHpro rents and installs giant LED screens in French-speaking Switzerland and throughout the country, indoors and outdoors: our own LED inventory, spare parts on site for every sensitive component, identified at the design stage, and technicians on site for the entire show. We deliver, build, adjust, feed the screen with content in the right format and then take it down. Pitch and surface are calculated from the audience distance and the content displayed, not chosen from a catalogue. The screen is integrated with sound and lighting, which we design alongside it.
What the service includes
Site survey and feasibility check, supply of the screen and its structure, power, processing and calibration, preparation of the content template, build, adjustment, then load-out.
How the configuration is decided
Audience distance and content determine the pitch. This parameter shapes the rest of the setup and weighs heavily on the price. A fine pitch ordered for close viewing costs a lot for nothing if the audience is twenty metres away. A pitch that is too coarse makes a table of figures unreadable, even from a distance.

The smallest comfortable pitch in millimetres is roughly the distance of the nearest viewer in metres. Choose finer when the content includes text or faces, and coarser for images alone seen from afar.
The venue determines the structure. Ground stacked or flown, ballast or fixed points, wind load outdoors. This is decided at the site survey.
The running order determines the processing. Simple playback and a control room with several live sources do not call for the same equipment.

The screen can be ground stacked, flown or mounted on a freestanding structure. We bring 10% spare modules on site. The signal is cabled in a double loop, so that a break in one cable does not interrupt the picture.

Launch. Product reveal, animated content produced for the screen, live capture fed back to the screen. Live capture and streaming
Public event and fan zone. Outdoor screen readable in daylight, ballasted structure, match screening and entertainment.
Sport and stadium. Stadium screens, perimeter LED boards, content synchronised with the match schedule.
Indoor and outdoor
Indoors, the main constraints are rigging and access. Outdoors, they are wind and weatherproofing. Outdoor panels are built for this, indoor panels are not, and confusing the two is costly.

A screen alone or a complete setup
Many requests start with a screen and end up as a complete setup: as soon as someone speaks, you need sound, and as soon as there is sound, you need someone at the desk. An LED wall is also a light source, and stage lighting is designed with it.

Which pitch for which audience distance?
Working rule: the smallest comfortable pitch in millimetres is roughly equal to the distance of the nearest viewer in metres; choose a finer pitch when the content includes text or faces. The distance table on this page gives, for each front-row distance, the pitch we use and the recommended content. We recalculate based on the actual content before confirming.
Is an LED screen readable in daylight?
Yes. LED produces its own light, unlike projection. It is the option we recommend outdoors in daytime or in a lit room.
In what format should content be supplied?
The resolution of an LED wall depends on the number of panels and rarely matches a standard format. We provide the exact template before your content is produced.
What does the venue need to provide?
Truck access, sufficient electrical power, a clear build area and sightlines that suit the audience. We check these four points at the site survey, before confirming feasibility.
Do technicians stay during the event?
Yes. Our technicians are present throughout the show, with backup equipment close at hand. A dry hire, installed without operation, is possible: it then appears as a separate line on the quote.
