Technical design and direction
For your event, RMHpro plays the role an architect plays on a building site: designing the technical setup, costing it, coordinating those who build it, and answering for the result within the agreed scope. A single technical direction and a dedicated project manager. The assignment can be commissioned on its own, before any equipment is purchased.
The role
On a building site, the architect does not lay the bricks. The architect decides what is built, checks that it is feasible, coordinates the trades and answers for what they designed.
That is what we do for the technical side of an event.
The four stages
Design. We start from your intention and the venue, not from a catalogue. What the audience needs to see and hear, from where, and when. LED screens, sound and lighting are designed together, with the structures that carry them.
Costing. A complete technical budget, line by line, including what is often forgotten: power, access, build phasing, night staff.
Coordination. Build schedule, allocation of access and power, arbitration between suppliers, responsibilities set out in writing, package by package.
Operation. Running the show, with fallback plans tested beforehand.
Design on its own
You already have your suppliers, or you want to compare offers on a sound basis. We write the technical specifications and the layout plan, draw up the power budget, and estimate what the setup should cost.
The assignment is invoiced by the day, deducted if you then entrust the setup to us.
What we do not do
Your communications, your artistic programming, your press relations. We do not replace your agency if you have one: we work alongside it, as technical support or on a white-label basis, and we take on the largest setups at its side. For agencies

Frequently asked questions
How is this different from an equipment rental company?
A rental company delivers the equipment on your list. We draw up that list based on the site survey, the audience and the running order, and then we make it work. If nobody designs the setup, it gets designed by default at the time of ordering, without the technical information.
Does a single technical direction mean a single responsibility?
One technical direction, yes, and one quote. RMHpro answers for the work packages it delivers and coordinates the specialist packages entrusted to partners. Responsibility for each package is stated in the quote. When a third-party package prevents ours from working, we arbitrate and propose the solution, and the quote states who bears the cost depending on where the problem comes from.
When should you call us?
Ideally before the venue is signed. The heaviest constraints are decided when the venue is chosen. After that, you adapt, and adapting generally costs more than deciding. That said, a project already under way is a common situation that we take over without difficulty.
Can the design be commissioned on its own?
Yes. Site survey, technical specifications, layout plan, power budget and comparative costing, with no commitment to supply. The assignment is invoiced by the day, at the day rate shown on the quote. If you then entrust the setup to us, those days are deducted.
