Lausanne brings together corporate headquarters, universities, sports federations and cantonal institutions. Requests for LED screens come first from general meetings and conferences, then from academic ceremonies, product launches and public events on the quays.

Each use calls for a different screen. A general meeting needs a fine pitch for legible tables and faithful reproduction of presentations. A graduation ceremony needs image height so that the back rows can see faces. A fan zone needs a screen legible in broad daylight and a control room that keeps up with the live feed.

From our base in Saint-Maurice

The equipment leaves Saint-Maurice (VS) and reaches Lausanne by motorway in about an hour. The site survey is done within the day. Transport is charged per kilometre, on its own line, and in most cases the build is scheduled without an overnight hotel stay. For a multi-day event, our technicians stay on site throughout the show.

Constraints in Lausanne

Lausanne is built on a slope. Between Ouchy and the centre, the route for the panel flight cases from the truck is checked at the site survey: ramp, goods lift, stairs. In the old town and the pedestrian streets, unloading follows delivery hours.

On the Ouchy quays, the wind from the lake determines the ballast and the late afternoon sun on the water determines the orientation of the screen. Indoors, you need enough clear height and a dedicated power supply; congress centres generally have known rigging points and power already distributed.

Permission to use public land is the organiser’s responsibility: the application is filed with the municipality, usually through the cantonal events portal (POCAMA), with conditions on noise and hours. We provide the plans that go with it.
