Geneva is home to international organisations, the headquarters of trading companies and banks, trade fairs with an international reach and a busy associative life. From our base in Saint-Maurice

The equipment leaves Saint-Maurice (VS) and reaches Geneva via the Lake Geneva motorway in about an hour and a half. For large formats, the build is scheduled for the day before to allow time for calibration and content tests. Transport and, where necessary, the crew’s overnight stay appear as separate lines on the quote.

Constraints in Geneva

Geneva’s conference centres have access procedures to follow, with the list of staff and vehicles announced in advance. During major trade fairs, delivery slots and hotels around Palexpo are in high demand.

The old town has narrow, sloping, cobbled streets: the unloading point is checked at the site survey. Crossing the city and the approaches to the airport are congested at peak times, so deliveries are scheduled outside them.

On the harbour, the bise can blow hard for several days in a row: the structure and the ballast are decided according to wind load and public circulation. Permission to use public land is the organiser’s responsibility, with the City of Geneva or the municipality concerned, and we provide the layout plan and the technical data sheets for the structure.
