RMHpro equips a congress from end to end: plenary, breakout rooms, plenary feed to the other rooms, connected interpreting booths, filming and streaming to remote participants. Everything is run from a single control room, under a single technical direction for the organiser.
A congress piles up what a single event does not have: several rooms at once, languages, a programme that slips. The technical setup has to absorb these slips without the organiser noticing.
What we take care of
- a) the plenary: screen, sound tuned for speech, speaker and audience microphones, stage lighting
- b) breakout rooms: screen or projection, sound, microphones, a dedicated technician
- c) the plenary feed to breakout rooms and break areas
- d) interpreting booths connected to the room’s console
- e) filming and streaming to remote participants, described on the webcasts and hybrid meetings page
- f) recording of each session, handed over to the organiser

How it works for you
Survey of the rooms and of the participants’ routes. Quote per room and per day. A list of what you prepare: programme, presentations, list of speakers. Build the day before, tests with the interpreters and with speakers who wish to take part. On the day, a dedicated project manager in the control room, reachable at all times.

As soon as several rooms run at the same time, we assess whether a central control room brings a real benefit. It makes it possible to coordinate the rooms, programme changes and audio and video feeds from a single point of supervision.
How does interpreting work?
The interpreting booths are connected to the room’s sound console. The interpreters receive the direct sound from the room. Their interpretation goes out to the participants’ receivers and, if the plenary is streamed, to audio channels separate from the stream.
Do remote participants see the same thing as the room?
They see the control room mix: speaker, inserted presentation, questions from the floor. They do not get the view of a webcam placed at the back. The setup is described on the hybrid meetings page.
How much does congress AV cost?
It depends on the number of rooms, the number of days and the streaming planned. The quote is drawn up per room and per day, line by line, after a survey of the venue.
